" What an honor to be part of a great youth organization! We could really use your help. The East Valley Young Marines pride themselves in doing Community Service and helping those in need. The Young Marines are an official youth program of the Marine Corps League, founded in 1958 to promote the mental, moral, and physical development of young Americans.   The East Valley Young Marines have been given an outstanding opportunity that only a few other units have shared. Our Unit plans to visit our Nation's capitol of Washington DC in July, 2009! The Young Marines will be visiting war Veterans while working directly with the Library of Congress and Smithsonian Institute on their Veteran's History Project. "

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for our Young Marines and the only obstacle that we face is a lack of financial support.  We are requesting tax-deductible financial contributions from our friends, family and community. Our Young Marines pride themselves with their commitments to honor their God, their Country and their families as well as providing numerous contributions to the local community.
