1. Obey my parents and all others in charge of me either young or old.

4. To keep my mind alert when in school, work, or play.
5. To remember that self-deiscipline will enable to control my body and mind in case of an emergency.

all other youth to follow.

that will bring disgrace or
dishonor upon my God, my Country, or its Flag, my parents, myself, or the Young Marines. These I will honor and respect in a manner that will reflect honor and credit upon them and myself.
